NMI Verification Roadmapping Project

Latest News

The report from the Verification Roadmapping project is now available. We’ve got an excellent cross-section of industrially-relevant projects and will be reviewing these at a forthcoming network event where work-in-progress will be presented, funding sources will be discussed along with case studies on ways of supporting industrially-relevant R&D.

We're now seeking participation from a range of organisations to progress these projects to deliver benefits to the project proposers and the wider verification community in the UK. Please download the report and get in touch if you would like to participate (contact details below).

Project Background

Details on the background to this project can be found here. The aim is to create a Verification Roadmap for the semiconductor design community, to draw together requirements for the medium-term (3-5 years) and to encourage collaboration between industry and universities.

The process involved gathering input from the community via round-table meetings and/or telephone interviews. Mike Bartley of TVS was engaged by NMI to carry out this project with sponsorship from the Electronics-KTN. Mike is a respected verification specialist having worked for various companies in the Bristol area.

Planned Meetings

The next meeting is on 29th June at Rutherford Appleton Laboratory near Didcot where the report and work-in-progress will be presented, funding sources will be discussed along with case studies on ways of supporting industrially-relevant R&D.
